This year's social was held at the Platypus and Gnome.  The Coastal Women Attorneys is a chapter of the North Carolina Association of Women Attorneys and provides women attorneys the opportunity to come together to take action on issues affecting women and women lawyers in North Carolina.

The event was held at Bluewater Waterfront Grille and provided an opportunity to socialize with other New Hanover County Bar Association Members and their families.

This award recognizes attorneys licensed and practicing law in the state of North Carolina who have achieved success in their law practice, made contributions to society and have had an impact on the legal industry.

Ms. Roden and Mr. Kelly's presentation focused on the importance of pre-planning by establishing an estate plan and making final arrangements. Pre-planning can alleviate stress, anxiety, and tension for your loved ones.

The event was co-hosted by the New Hanover County Bar Association and the New Hanover-Pender County Medical Society.

Dreams, a national award-winning nonprofit organization, is dedicated to creating  a culture of confidence in local youth development through the arts by providing free programming in the areas of  literary, visual, multimedia and performing arts.  Ashley will serve as Chair for the “Over the Edge” event to be held November 18-19 at the Blockade Runner at Wrightsville Beach

This annual event provides the Chamber of Commerce and its members the opportunity to talk with elected officials from New Hanover County, the City of Wilmington, Wrightsville Beach, Carolina Beach, and Kure Beach as well as US and State Senators and Representatives in an informal setting.

Noel Fox was selected as Wilma Magazine’s Woman to Watch for 2015 in the Business category.  The awards ceremony was held October 23 at CFCC's Union Station.  A panel of judges chose the winners in seven categories as well as 35 finalists out of nearly 300 nominations submitted for women excelling in their fields and poised to have a leadership impact in the area during the coming years.

Ms. Fox thanked the  family members and friends she has looked to in her career:
