Amie Sloane is an estate planning attorney in Wilmington, North Carolina. Having practiced in the areas of estate planning, real estate and where the two often meet, she now brings that knowledge to Craige, Fox & Roden, assisting clients with comprehensive estate plans.
Amie is a member of the New Hanover County and North Carolina Bar Association (member Estate Planning and Fiduciary Law Section).
Originally from Hudson, New York, Amie is a graduate of the Appalachian School of Law, where she distinguished herself as a member of the Law Review and then as editor in chief of the same. Before pursuing law, Amie earned a degree in graphic design, a foundation that enhances her ability to think critically and innovatively in her legal work. During law school, Amie interned with the N.C. Attorney General in the Human Services Section and also worked for a criminal law firm. This unique career path and diversity allows her to approach each case with a fresh perspective and tailored solutions for her clients.
After graduating law school and settling in Wilmington in 2003, Amie practiced in North and South Carolina. A strong believer in giving back to the community, Amie worked on various boards and councils to include a position as past-president of New Hope Clinic and serves on the Wilmington Area Advisory Council of Legal Aid of North Carolina.
Outside of the office, Amie enjoys spending time with her family and still wields her graphic design for good.
