Lawrence S. Craige is a trusted guardianship lawyer who has spent more than 20 years specializing in Guardianship and Elder Law. He is a member of the New Hanover County and North Carolina Bar Associations.

Lawrence’s experience as a guardianship and elder law attorney is widely recognized. He is a member of the Elder Law and Estate Planning and Fiduciary Law sections of the North Carolina Bar and a Board Certified Specialist in Elder Law by the North Carolina State Board of Legal Specialization. Lawrence is also a member of the National Association of Elder Law Attorneys, is certified to mediate matters in Superior Court and matters before the Clerk of Court such as Guardianship and Partition Proceedings, and named a Certified Elder Law Attorney by the ABA-accredited National Elder Law Foundation.

Biography

In and around Wilmington, Lawrence has served on the Salvation Army Advisory Board and the Board of the Bellamy Mansion Museum of History and Design Arts. He has also served as president to both the Historic Wilmington Foundation and Wilmington Downtown, Inc.

A New Orleans native, Lawrence loves returning to The Big Easy to listen to jazz in the streets of the historic city. And, as a proud University of Alabama alumnus, he takes advantage of every opportunity to watch the Alabama Crimson Tide claim yet another national title. In quieter moments, Lawrence enjoys reading a daily print newspaper and a Great American Novel – whether it is The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, The Great Gatsby, Invisible Man, or A Visit From the Goon Squad.
